Why does this matter? Well, this environmentally sensitive area is a haven for nearly 500 species of birds, several of which are threatened or endangered. Our investigation reveals a concerning pattern. Since 2019, there have been at least 19 incidents involving fires, leaks, or explosions, often sending debris into these pristine wildlife areas.
