Have you ever encountered a pool so neglected that it looks like a breeding ground for new life forms? Our neighbor's pool was exactly that – a veritable cesspool of leaves, sediment, and who knows what else lurking beneath the surface. The shock came when a疑似 shark made an appearance, but fear not, for the AquaSense Pro all-in-one smart pool cleaning robot was here to save the day, sponsored by BeatBot.
We had promised our neighbor a奇迹般 transformation, but our pool contractor quickly burst our bubble with the reality check – the pool was in worse shape than we imagined, and the AquaSense Pro, despite its impressive features, isn't a miracle worker. But we were determined to give it a shot.
Before diving into the deep end, we examined the AquaSense Pro. Packed with features and certifications, including IP68 water resistance, this robot boasts of being the world's first 5-in-1 intelligent pool cleaner. It promised to clean the floor, walls, waterline, and surface, with optional water clarification. The quick start guide and user manual were our biblical texts for this mission.
Equipped with a debris collection slot and a Scrubbity pool brush (yes, that's what they called it), the AquaSense Pro was ready to tackle the mess. We set it to floor clean mode, and it began its journey, spitting water out the top to maintain buoyancy. It reached the bottom, but the question remained – did it have a sensor to know when the basket was full?
As it danced around the pool, picking up debris and stirring up a plume of algae, we couldn't help but marvel at its persistence. It didn't complain, unlike us humans, and just kept on going. However, it soon became apparent that the pool's condition was too much for our little robot friend. It got gummed up and couldn't collect any more debris.
Realistically, we knew the AquaSense Pro was a maintenance robot, not a miracle worker. So, we decided to take it to a more manageable pool – my own. After a bit of mischief (messing up a clean pool to test the robot), we set it to work. This time, it performed admirably, picking up leaves and debris with its clever navigation system and sonic sense sensors.
After a couple of hours of cleaning, it signified it was full and needed the basket cleaned. We did so, put it back in the water, and it continued its task. The AquaSense Pro showed impressive battery life, but it did have trouble with stairs – something BeatBot is working on with their new multi-zone mode.
In the end, the AquaSense Pro picked up more debris than we expected, far outperforming its intended light pool maintenance use case.
